Can You Hear the Echo of Dead Leaves?

Today, I continued to work through the Gears & Services section of the book. I was aiming to have the PG section of Echo wrapped up by tomorrow, but it may well run on until the end of the week. Good progress was made,  though I did get wrapped up in the flotsam and jetsam of minor details as I did yesterday. Part of me wonders if it’s activity avoidance while my inner voice tells me I’m storing up more facts for future use.

I do go through periods where I need to read a lot. It’s like those times when your body craves an abnormal amount of milk and you drink a gallon in two days or when you crave salt (my intake is typically very low) and you pour salt on stuff like you’re a freewheelin’ Roman on payday.

The  contest we’re running for a free copy of Iron Dynasty is moving well and we’re getting new followers every day. Yippee! Some of them are just in it for the contest and will disappear. Of this, I am certain.

I’ve continued to feel edgy and restless which lets me know I must be doing something right. This is the same sort of gentle disquiet I felt when working on Realms of Cthulhu and it nearly consumed me, but Echo is different. I’ll show some restraint. I’ll show some balance in my life. I’ll try to remember to shave (even though it’s going on two weeks now–about the time I began to work on Echo again in earnest). Can you hear the Echo? I can.

Until next time, I bid you, dear reader, adieu!
