A number of issues were discovered concerning our recent print run of DarkSummer Nights. Without boring you all with technical minutiae, I'll give you an overview of what happened. As we were about to go to press, we needed to locate a new printer. Chaos ensued. We had to go through another round of layouts to meet the new printer's criteria. Weirdness manifested in strange, terrible ways. Ways that effected you, our loyal customers, patrons, and friends. I'm all apologies. In short, since this release, we've been reevaluating, and reassessing our future product plans. In short, we'd rather have slight delays, than compromise our quality.
Rather than dwell on the past, we're going to use this as a learning experience, and make things right as best we can. Here's the plan:
First off, a "patch file" of missing materials is being compiled to get into the hands of our early supporters.
Secondly, we're taking things "back to formula", and layout DarkSummer over again, in a crisper format.
Lastly, we pledge to try not to rush things out the door, but practice the due diligence, and quality control that you expect, and deserve from us.
In return, we ask only that you accept our apologies, and give us an opportunity to make things right.
