Punchbug
Function: Hand-to-Hand Expert.
Quote: There will be two hits: me hitting you, and you hitting the floor.
Description: Punchbug is a hand-to-hand expert, and often charges headlong into battle without thinking. Her allies often wonder if her willingness to take on more powerful opponents is overconfidence or ignorance. Perhaps it’s both, or perhaps Punchbug just feels she has something to prove — to herself as well as to others. Punchbug is a small ‘bot, but a fierce one, never backing down from a challenge and never shirking her responsibility as an Alliance mechagen and self-proclaimed defender of the Earth. She has also developed a personality quirk that other ‘bots find somewhat peculiar: a sense of humor. Often times Punchbug uses her mouth as a weapon just as much as her fists or blasters. She may fire off blaster shots one moment, and then scathing insults the next.
Abilities: In primary form Punchbug has specially reinforced arms and legs that enable her to make powerful hand-to-hand strikes. Special gears and rams in her extremities can also temporarily boost her physical capabilities. Her arms contain concealed quantum energy blasters that she can fire independently or concentrate on a single opponent.

In Robot Mode, Backblast transforms and enhances the head, making it larger and designed.
Raptor- Animal Companion (Eagle) (not sure where I'm putting him during either mode)

* My explanation for the Security Clearance. He does work for the human intelligence agencies, and with his companions he can spy on them from a good distance away. He's studied a lot of earth languages to translate them quickly and he reports his findings to place like the FBI or CIA.

Ok... Punchbug is updated to level 2.

I took the Challenge feat, with the Fast Task option for her Taunt. She can Taunt as a move action instead of a standard action.

So now she can tell her Legion opponent that he's a clanking rust-bucket and attack him in the same round.

Oh no... (chuckles) This could be rather intresting. Didn't you do that a lot already Erica? Punchbug was the queen of trash talk :)

Well, sure I can roleplay insults and taunting, but this version of Punchbug has the Taunt feat.
That takes trash talk to a whole new level.

The Taunt feat lets you taunt as a standard action. It's an opposed roll of Bluff vs. Will or Sense Motive. On a success, the target is shaken because of the harshness of your words. A shaken opponent is -2 to attacks, checks, and saving throws.

Because using the Taunt feat is a standard action, I wouldn't be able to Taunt and attack in the same round. With the Challenge (Fast Task) feat, I can make the standard action to Taunt into a move action. That frees up my standard action to let me attack.

Punchbug is still the queen of trash talk, but now she's especially good at it and there is a game-mechanics benefit as well. :D
