Secrets of Aetherium?

Postby Kathulos » Tue Mar 16, 2010 1:19 am

Just wondering if there has been any development?
IIRC, it was suppose to be released last year. Then all of a sudden it just disappeared. I know that development of RoC took the primary position, and I do enjoy playing it.
But I do hope that SoA has not been completely removed from the list of releases for either 2010 or 2011.
Guess what this comes down to is; Are we ever going to see Secrets of Aetherium?

Secrets of Aetherium has been written, but may undergo changes to tighten up the plot point. I'm not comfortable projecting release dates, but it is one of the projects in the cue.
There will be some good news regarding Ravaged Earth soon.

Eric,
Thanks for the reply.
My big worry was that SoA had been dropped.
Very happy to know that it is still in the works and that Ravaged Earth material is still being worked on.

Thanks for your support on this. We're keeping things under wraps for now, but we'll be letting loose with some news before too terribly long! Your patience will be rewarded.

Hello, new to the boards. I downloaded the Ravaged Earth R&R bundle and absolutely lovin' it! Big fan of the pulps. I've been browsing the boards for new Ravaged Earth news but am coming up empty. Any more plans for Ravaged Earth? How is Secrets of Aetherium coming along? Thanks for the great product!

Glad you like Ravaged Earth.
I'm currently working on an updated Ravaged Earth rulebook. It will be published in a digest size with new art, new rules, a new archetype or two, more information about the Martians and a 12-part Plot Point campaign. Look for it to drop sometime in 2011.
After that, Secrets of Aetherium will follow.

This is great news!
RE has been my favorite pulp game since I first read through it.
Can't imagine how it it can be improved, though I do look forward to seeing the expanded information on the martians.
Please keep us posted on the progress.

Thanks!

We plan to entirely revamp the art, change the layout, and give the setting a sharper focus, including a Plot Point Campaign.
