Wanna be teased?

Go listen to the latest Smiling Jack's Bar & Grill. Ravaged Earth is discussed a bit at the 55 minute mark.

If you have the time (and you should), go listen to the whole show. Veronica has a GREAT tip in there.

Regards,

Sean

That discussion on the podcast has really got me stoked! I am rereading War of the Worlds just 'cause now.

I would really like to run a game of Ravaged Earth at U-Con in October here in Michigan. Any chance this will be available before then?

Reality Blurs stuff always makes for great con gaming experiences. RunePunk is what sold me on Savage Worlds many moons ago! Didn't hurt that you ran it, Sean! :P

Thanks! We appreciate your nice words and you taking the time to join in the chat! :)

Things are looking favorable for it being released prior to October.

Best,

Great news!
I've been hoping that RE would be out in time for winter. I've been looking to run it while a couple of friends are home for the holiday break.
Guess I'm going to need to pour through my various sources to put together a 3 or 4 part adventure.

Any chance this will be out by Gen Con? After hearing the Smilin' Jack's Bar and Grill podcast, I am really psyched to start a regular game. Thanks!

While we don't make a habit of commenting on release dates, I can say Ravaged Earth won't be out by Gencon. We're working on getting the art in and final layout work, and that takes time. I can tell you Ravaged Earth will be out this fall, just a few scant months away.
In the meantime, I'm laboring away at supplemental material for the game.
Your patience, as always, is appreciated!

I guess I can wait a few more months.
On the plus side it gives me the chance to fine tune some aspects of the world I want to create for the players. Finding a way to work in some Lovecraftian and Howardisque aspects that will be revived by the Martian Invasion. Along with some of the more mundane supernatural elements of Earth.
So if waiting means I can have my details ready to be plug into the game, I'll wait.
But as soon as you start taking orders, I'm all over this new edition.

Hopefully, I will be attending GenCon in Indianapolis from Aug. 16 to 19. I'm running a game of Ravaged Earth on Aug. 18 during Savage Saturday Night. As a bonus, I'll be teasing Ravaged Earth Revised at the Pinnacle panel Saturday afternoon. So if you want a sneak peak of Ravaged Earth Revised, I might be tempted to show you.

I'm really pleased with the way Ravaged Earth Revised came out. The new rules are combined with ones found in Agents of Oblivion and Iron Dynasty. The 12-part plot point is an exciting thrill ride. The Martian section describes the invaders and their technology. The revised pulp adventure generator will amaze you. Plus, there's a plethora of NPCs (both good and evil) to use however you want. We're waiting on art for the book right now, but it shouldn't be too long a wait.

In the meantime, if you want pulp action in a world overrun by Martians, magic, weird tech and sinister villains, stop by GenCon and I'll try to accommodate you. :D

I wish I could be there to ask questions and get all the information I want.
But alas, I blew most of my free cash attending Pulp-Fest this past weekend.
So I'm going to have to rely on someone being there and posting the information after the Con.
Btw, is an October release still in the pipeline?
Because I would love to have this in my hands by the first of November.
