So...speaking of things OOC, I'd like some feedback from you on how to handle "game mechanics". It has been my experience that the game system takes a back seat to the storyline / plot in pbp games. With that in mind, I can run this one of several ways:

    1) Mechanics are invisible - you state the action your character wants to take, and I describe the outcome.
    2) I set up a thread for all mechanics rolls / draws. That way you can see the results of your action and will have a better understanding of the stated outcome.

Ultimately, it makes no difference to me either way except for one small caveat: it saves me time if it's "invisible" as I don't have to create an extra post.

it doesn't matter to me. As you stated before, you will be doing all the rolls, so I will be trusting you. If that's the case, it may well be invisible.

Invisible suits me, maybe doing a call out if you get some really bizarre/interesting roll. "Character X stands steadfast and unflinching as Cthulhu rises before him." (Joe got a 37 on his guts roll!)

I probably won't get a chance to do any updates until early next week.

Stay tuned

My dumbass just read the gameplay rules (beyond the character creation part), so I went back and fixed my posts - added my picture to each post (found a perfect one: glasses, hair, and age!) and ditched the signature.

Also, my character's name is pronounced Edward Delaise (sounds like 'delays') Tante (sounds like 'can't' but with a 'T').
