Pity that I will not be able to attend GenCon this year. I'd love to play in a RE game.
Perhaps after GenCon you might be willing to part with some of the new material that will be included in the second edition?

There might be an official preview of Ravaged Earth in the future...

Any chance we can get an update on where this edition is in development?

I haven't been on the boards in a while, as I've been hip deep in editing and writing the second edition of Ravaged Earth. Just thought I'd drop by to update everyone on our progress. Layout is complete and I'm going through it right now, meticulously scrutinizing every word and detail.
The project is making its way through the production stages and I'm extremely pleased at what it's become.
New Edges, Hindrances and Martian Tech.
A globe-spanning Plot Point and Side Treks.
New rules embracing pulp action.
Re-tooled focus on the overarching plot.
Yeah. It's shaping up very nicely... :D

First wave complete. What's that mean? All edits have been made and layout established. Tweaks have been tweaked. Really just awaiting art.

One more editorial pass then the second wave begins.

Second wave is shifting stuff around a bit and placing art, doing bookmarks, and prepping out for print.

Best,

Sean

Which, I hope, means a release by GenCon?
As you can tell I've been waiting for this with baited breath.
Just saying again that this is the most interesting game I've ever seen in the entire Pulp rpg genre.
So I can wait a little while longer. But I am glad that that progress is being made.

I don't like to jinx release schedules, but we'll smirk and cross our fingers (and mumble under our breath)...

The first wave is done and second wave will commence latter part of this week. Everything is on track and looking good! :D

Best,
