To All Who Have Patiently Waited...

... thank you.

There was a serious dry spell, followed by some very wise decision by the Razorwise One himself, my friend and publisher, Sean Preston.

There are some amazing products from Reality Blurs getting much-deserved attention, and this has been an exceptional year for fans of the company - Iron Dynasty, new Runepunk material, Realms of Cthulhu... and so much more in the works.

With all that being said, you who love or are interested in Shaintar will not be disappointed. There's still going to be a wait, I am afraid, but it will be well worth it.

2012 is not going bring an apocalypse - it's going to bring Shaintar to life in ways you never dreamed.

In the meantime, I have some plans to keep the magic flowing for all of us, so please stay tuned...

Just a note to let you all know this is not hanging in Limbo somewhere. Shaintar: Legends Arise and Shaintar: Legends Unleashed have just both been uploaded, in full, to Reality Blurs.

And they are both now fully compatible with Savage Worlds Deluxe.

Boo.

Yah.

Before anyone starts looking for it to appear on shelves right away, please take a look at this.

Thanks a lot for the updates, Sean. My group completed all the material from the original Shaintar book about two months ago and we all can't wait to play the new stuff. Will the books be available at the Studio 2 site when they are completed?

Different, Sean, but the one with the answer to that question, which is yes. :)

Sean

Hi,

I've been following, although not playing, Shaintar for some years. I've been looking forward to the new edition for some time now and lately, I've been looking for a new fantasy setting. So I thought I'd give Shaintar another look.

So, what is the status of the new edition of Shaintar right now? Where is it in the production process? :)

Also, a specific question: is the new Shaintar going to be full color and hardcover? Any decision been taken on that issue yet? (I love full color hard cover rpgs :P )

Cheers,

Eirik

Thanks for your faithfulness! Manuscripts for both Shaintar volumes have been turned in and the editorial staff is taking it through edits even as we speak.

The plan is for the books to be black and white, softback digests. There is a lot of good stuff contained within the pages. I assure you, you'll not be disappointed!

Best,

Sean

Nice, looking forward to it, and I can live with the black and white softcovers if the new edition keeps the quality of the first one. :)

This has probably been asked before, but will the new edition continue the story from the first?

Cheers,

Eirik

I'm so sorry it took me forever to get to this, but essentially the answer to your question is "yes." Not in exacting terms, but those paying attention can tell the timeline has gone forward.

Hi,
I'm new around here but I and my players LOVE the Shaintar setting. We picked up a used players guide and Immortal Legends book and were off and running. I was hunting around online to see what, if anything, I could find since I saw that the setting had left SM before I even bought it. I jumped for joy (scary to behold, seriously) when I found out the setting was being extended and hopefully sometime soon!

Any chance we can get an update on how things are going?

Also, since my players aren't very patient, is any of the original material available for purchase anywhere? I saw a post from Sean somewhere indicating it might be posted for download before the release of the new material?

Thanks for creating a great world and keeping it alive :)
