GameStorm was last weekend. I posted to my blog about it:http://jghostman.blogspot.com/2012/03/gamestorm14.html
Or you can read about my 2 AoO games here:
I ran my TrollHunter game and Bullet Extraction (sent to me by Ed Wetterman from this here thread).
Both went well, I used Trigger's edge/hind/power cards, and they were a huge hit! I also used the Players Mat from the SWES. I had to make my own GM screen, tho.. I just used the std SW screen wth a page facing the players with the book cover on it. I also got the hard copy of the book at the con, I had ordered it from my FLGS and they brought it to the con for me.
I did screw up the timing on the Bullet Extraction, and we ended up cutting short of the last 2 minutes of the op (including the extraction minute) but the agents were in the car with the target with the target on the ropes.. All hell was about to break loose... All my players had a game scheduled immediately afterwards, otherwise we would have finished it. I don't know how I lost track of time that badly.. it must have been all the fun making time fly.
The Troll Hunter game was good, too. It was fun and everyone liked my end scene, but I think the rest of it was a little off.. I could use the end scene in any other game, really. The big bad at the end was what was scaring the Trolls and causing the problem. I liked my big bad - A dragon with tentacles, made up of the bodies of the dead, every protuberance ended in a human head. when the creature died, it shattered into a thousand bodies. I dumped a bunch of mini's onto the table for effect. Then, if they didn't cast the next spell in time, the creature re-animated itself. They had to kill it twice!
Anyway, A great weekend.. played a few savage worlds games and got a sweet hotel room (I travel for work and have status - I got the Presidential Suite).
