Origins and Other Confessions

Today, I turned my attention to the first stage of my final preparations for Origins. For those of you not in the know, it’s the mighty game convention held in Columbus, Ohio next week. I feel strangely prepared–scenarios are ready and pregens are awaiting individuals to bring them to life.  I’ll have to make a confession. I hate going to cons. Now hold up, before you glower my way. Read my words carefully. I hate going to cons. Once I’m there, it’s an entirely different story. I have a good time. My network has grown and our fan base ever expands.

This will be the first year I’m actually linked into social media. While the website has been up for ages, I’ve been blogging a lot more regularly since November and am very active on Facebook and Twitter. My goal is to tweet and stay connected whilst at the show. I know it’s possible. Other folks do it, so why can’t I? I’ll be giving it a go and I hope you and your friends in attendance at Origins shall follow me on Twitter as that’ll be the quickest and fastest way to know where I’m at.

I get pulled in lots of directions and I may not always be at the Studio2 booth. I don’t know if I’ll have secret meetings or other such things, but I’m ready if I do and when it comes to adventures and other intrigues, my NookColor is full of lots of material, so I can get my game on at a moment’s notice. This will be the first year I’ll be at the show wired in a whole new way and I’m looking forward to it. Now where are my dice?

Until next time, I bid you, dear reader, adieu!
