Absence Makes the Heart Grow Fonder

While I am quick to share personal insights, it is passing rare for me to get completely personal. We all have our ups and downs and human strengths and frailties and I don’t want coming to Reality Blurs to be a bummer. There are plenty of spots to get a dose of reality. Right? Here, I like to entertain, enlighten, and share through witty introspection and random fits of wisdom. However, some of you might wonder what has recently happened to yours truly, so I’m going to give you a snippet of my life, and then we’ll move on to talking more practical matters of make-believe.

Here goes. I was sick. Really, really sick. It was probably the flu or some really bad cold. I was bedridden. I had fevers. I drank lots of fluids. I didn’t shave. I lost weight. I didn’t think about touching a computer, let alone work. I’m still fatigued. I’m still not a hundred percent. I’m getting better. I don’t like to dwell on the negatives life offers, instead, I prefer to move forward. My step may be a bit slower for a bit. My work flow may be a bit reduced while I recuperate, but I missed you guys, and missed posting hither and yon.

It’s rather strange my return is on  CyberMonday. Such is life. We’re having a sale on some things over at DrivethruRPG. You should check out the deals.

My fingers are itching to release more words. This can only be good. I best get to it. Until next time, I bid you, dear reader, adieu!
