MidSouth Con in Review

Mar 27th, 2006 | By | Category: The Razorwise Report

Hello All. This past weekend was MidSouth Con and I’ve not been so tired since the end of Con Season last year. Late nights and early mornings can sure make a guy sleepy. I was on some panels with nifty authors about Pitching Your Work for Publication and I did a pretty exhaustive SWdemo for a few locals, Jeff and Brandon, whom were at the con for illumination and exploration into other systems. They also gamed with me on Saturday with their buddy, Keith, who is also local and who is doing some work for Eden Studios. Small world, huh? […]

Is it March already???

Greets. As RunePunk spirals closer to completion, I am again going to be attending the MidSouth Con here in Memphis and will be speaking on some gaming panels. It should be a lot of fun to look back on how far I’ve come in the past year. I certainly wish RunePunk was ready for release now and I could walk into the convention hall with a bundle of books with that “just from the printer” smell and lots of gorgeous, colored pages for fans to drool over. Not yet. Well, the year isn’t over and the convention season is not […]

Vampire Earth is Out and the FTK is out too!

Okay, some of you may find it curious that I’m advertising some other guy’s stuff, but Eric’s a nice guy. We sat on a panel at MidSouth Con together and I’ve finally gotten to read the first two books of his Vampire Earth series. So, they’re pretty good reads, but books are something I’ll go into more on another section of the website (eventually.) Anyway, Vampire Earth RPG is out for Savage Worlds. If you like Savage Worlds, Vampires, or Vampire Earth books, get it. In Official Great White Game news… The Fantasy Tool Kit Bestiary is out and people […]

Being Known

I need to talk with more artsy types than are typically in my room where I do all of my writing. Hey, I can’t have a room full of artsy types while I work and there aren’t many where I go and shoot pool. It’s a challenge for a lot of them to read the numbers on the balls as it is, but I digress. Met up with a bunch of comic guys last week. (The kind that draw comics, not stand-ups.) Several of them are pushing through the veils of relative obscurity to a state of “being known.” I […]

MidSouth Con this weekend!

Hello All. Going to be speaking at MidSouth Con this weekend. Gotta update this thing more often, but I’ve been too busy writing real stuff. Will make more time soon. Hmmm. This reads like a telegraph where I’m payin’ by the word. Oh well. Later, Sean P.S. Come to the Con. Meet me. Buy the SW books. I got in a slew for the convention!
