Sean took some time out recently to do an interview with Gamer’s Haven Podcast in which he rambles on quite a bit about his personal gaming history as well as the past, present and future of Reality Blurs and its games.

There’s a lot of secret, eye-opening plans leaking out from the Mad Lab and into the public via this podcast interview, so give it a listen if you want to hear what we’re up to!

Orwell Industries Available for M&M Superlink and Other Oddities

May 1st, 2006 | By | Category: The Dirt

Hello All. I’ve mentioned this before and I’ll mention it now. Orwell Industries is now available for M&M Superlink. We’re quite proud of it and hope you’ll check it out and, maybe, even buy it. ;) I’ve wrapped up the changes for the SW Version and shall be sending that in for review shortly. I also had a lunch meeting today with the local writer I mentioned last week and things look good. We exchanged a rapid succession of emails over the course of the last week and everything should be a go in the next few days. The SWARM […]

Swarming with Excitement

Apr 24th, 2006 | By | Category: The Dirt

Hello All. Now that we’ve got Orwell Industries in the can for our Powers & Perils line and Sovereign Nation is well underway, I’m feeling pretty friendly and thought, what the heck, let’s tell you the next great thing coming up for P&P. It’s the Swarm. What is the Swarm? Well, I didn’t say, I’d tell you everything. I can tell you a few things. It’s in the preliminary stages. We’ve got a basic outline and I’ve got a direction I want to take this one. I’m looking at a writer that’d be new to our design studio, a local […]

Takin’ Care of Business

Apr 24th, 2006 | By | Category: The Mad Lab

Hello All… Let’s jump immediately to the news. Last week was an exceedingly busy one, having got Orwell Industries off to layout and now it’s in the hands of Green Ronin for approval. In other words, this is coming soon! Check out the Powers & Perils section of the site for a sneak peak of the cover. ;) I also got a chance to game this past weekend. Very cool. I got in some Zombies, played Munchkin for the first time- I won with a SuperMunchkin Dark Elf Master Wizard/Master Thief, and got to run some Savage Worlds. What did […]

Shameless Self-Promotion!

Apr 3rd, 2006 | By | Category: The Dirt

Hello All. Orwell Industries is in final edits by Jodi Black whilst we await the luscious color illustrations of Julia Bax. Butch Curry continues his work on Sovereign Nation and got his domain of ZombieNirvana.com without me noticing. (I intended to buy it and hold it hostage until he finished some work, but such is life! :P No really. I wouldn’t do that…) Ahem. So our first Superlink product is nearly out of the gate and I think you’ll love it. You’re probably wondering why we’re even invading M&M Superlink to begin with. Well, it’s a great system and there […]

The Sovereign Nation of Chernovoda

Feb 27th, 2006 | By | Category: The Dirt

Greets. While casting about for something newsworthy to share with you, I went, oh yeah, this is something that don’t know much about yet, right? Chernovoda. Remember it. Figure out how to say it. If you mispronounce it, I can’t help you. Just remember this much. It’s slated to be the second release in our Perils & Perils line for M&M Superlink under the title of Sovereign Nation. We’ve got Julia Bax already lined up to do the art for it. She’s currently wrapping up the art for Orwell Industries as we speak and I’m sure you’re going to love […]

Irony, True20, and Superlink

Jan 23rd, 2006 | By | Category: The Mad Lab

Hello All… The news today is that I’ve got a really talented artist lined up to work on Orwell Industries and am wrapping up the art directions for her. The irony is that I really want to start talking more about Agents of Oblivion, but the truth of the matter is I’m too busy to give it the justice it deserves yet. Strange, but true. First, Orwell Industries needs to be taken care of completely for M&M Superlink and handed off for layout and then I have to wrap up the final edits for Agents of Oblivion and get the […]

This Just In…

Jun 6th, 2005 | By | Category: The Dirt

Heh. Always wanted to say that. ;) As you may or may not know, we’ve got stuff in the works for Mutants & Masterminds as well as Savage Worlds, so this is relevant information. Green Ronin is coming out with its 2nd Edition in September. How cool is that? I’m mulling over the ramifications for developers (me included) at the moment. Their press release (following) kinda covers everything. Regards, Sean FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE MUTANTS & MASTERMINDS SECOND EDITION ON THE WAY Green Ronin to Publish New Edition of Hit Superhero RPG June 6, 2005—Seattle, WA: Green Ronin Publishing is proud […]

Green Light…

Oct 7th, 2004 | By | Category: The Dirt

Hello All. I mentioned I sent my project proposals off yesterday to M&M (or maybe I didn’t mention that.) At any rate, you know that I did now. To my surprise, I expeditiously got an email back from Steve Kenson, the creator of M&M (who, incidentally, is the guy who reviews the queries) who said “I’ll be looking forward to seeing the finished products when you’re ready to start rolling them out!” No pressure there, right? Ahem. Today, I sent off my proposal list to PEG and will anxiously await to hear back from them. It’s basically the same list, […]
