Today, we released Old School Fantasy #9: Hand of the Harbinger and it ends a plot arc begun in Old School Fantasy #7: Rot & Ruin. We’ve enjoyed delving into the dungeons and dealing with dragons, yet it’s time for us to shift our focus for a bit with the recent runaway success of Agents of Oblivion and other planned projects I’ve been talking about with you in various degrees. I won’t say we won’t return to Old School Fantasy in a bit, but we’re going to let the line breathe just a little bit. This adventure, penned by Dave [...]

Everyone should run, no click, on over to our shop and see all the new goodies we have in store for you. We’ve been so busy writing, we haven’t properly informed you in awhile. My apologies! There’s new Old School Fantasy (fresh today), more Iron Dynasty goodness, and RunePunk (yes, RunePunk) for your dark steampunk gratification.

Today, order was restored. The Old School Fantasy adventures wended their way to their respective shops and store fronts for their respective systems. (Remember: we heart you most if you buy direct from us.) I got to sink my teeth into the deep fleshy neck of the word puppet and drain it a bit before I was caught up in a maelstrom of sudden emails and last minute corrections for tomorrow’s release. (Oh foolish me for thinking I was ahead.) What I wrote about today concerned societies, transhumanism, extreme magic, and complete apathy. And, if it behaves well, it’s for [...]

Over the last week, we’ve had a chance to see the state of various projects. The first Iron Dynasty adventure shall be coming out in a few days, and April looks like it will make a strong showing with the planned continuation of Old School Fantasy, RunePunk, and a few other surprises for you. I’ll be starting to unveil more as things make their way through layout, but as it stands we should have a lot of goodness coming your way shortly. I’ll level with you–I intended to update this earlier today and really talk about some juicy rules stuff, [...]

Hello all. Today went better than yesterday, in part to a goodly amount of sleep, the fact the mega-snowstorm did not invade the territory of Memphis (because it knew what was good for it), and I made a lot of progress on the tasks at hand, and my interview with The Game’s the Thing is now live. Go let my words fill your ears. Yes. I’m recycling words today. You may have already seen those on our Facebook page, or Twitter, or even in The Dirt, but I want you to listen. Good stuff is to be found in there. [...]

We tend to keep the curtains pulled on the Mad Lad as we concoct various things. Let’s face it, some of these chemical compounds are sensitive to direct sunlight, and sometimes things blow up in our faces. We’d rather keep the hue and cry down until we have our Eureka moments, flip the switch, and some of the masses of dead flesh arise in a semblance of shambling life. Yet, you’ve expressed you want to know what we’re working on, so we’ll share just a little bit for you! Iron Dynasty support is coming fast and furious and looks to [...]

Sean took some time out recently to do an interview with Gamer’s Haven Podcast in which he rambles on quite a bit about his personal gaming history as well as the past, present and future of Reality Blurs and its games.
There’s a lot of secret, eye-opening plans leaking out from the Mad Lab and into the public via this podcast interview, so give it a listen if you want to hear what we’re up to!
