TGIF
Okay, what a long week it’s been. I got way ahead on Wednesday, and fell into a pit of molasses today. So, what I can tell you? I wound up even for the week, though I wanted to cut out early, and get a start on what I’m officially dubbing my birthday weekend. If you lift a pint, do so in my honor, will ya? (Not like any of you ever need an excuse, do you?)
What to talk about? I’m on track for the support materials for Iron Dynasty, which should be getting into the stores very soon I’m told. (I know. Finally.) We’ll let you know when they hit there, but you can take advantage of our deal for a few more days. I think we’ll go ahead and run it until the end of the month. Why not? Right. It’s a bargain.
Today, I wrote a lot about Tahata Gaki, one of the less pleasant provinces of the Iron Dynasty. They are a dark, nasty lot ruled by baku which are twisted demons with the upper body and head of a man and the lower body of a spider. They are disgusting and horrible and they are supposed to be. Remember when I told you I can take four color fiction and end up turning one of those colors into black? There’s the case in point.
Work proceeds apace on the super secret project I allude to, but rest assured it’s not interfering with any of the stuff I’ve already spilled the beans on. This is shaping up to be a good year. I’m looking forward to it.Apologies for no real golden words of wisdom or deep insights today, I’ve got to get ready to pick up my daughter. I sense there is Call of Duty: Black Ops in my immediate future.
Oh yeah, I got to play in a terrific game of Fiasco last night. I should go into more detail but I’ll save it up for a rainy day. Right now I’ve got to catch a few of those strange golden rays, feeble though they may be. Until next time, I bid you, dear reader, adieu!
