And Friday Falls Like Cold, Cold Blackness
I’ve heard it said that without weather, many folks would have nothing to talk about. While that’s not necessarily the case, it doesn’t hurt to break the ice with a few wintry words as the eastern part of the United States (and up into Canada) experiences some awfully frosty temperatures. I read it’s as cold in one spot of Canada as it is on Mars (though the spot in question on Mars is the equatorial equivalent of Venezuela, so there you go).
Words continue to be written. Thoughts reel about the boundaries of my mind (and beyond). And Things continue to be done. All for the Blur. I’ll begin discussing these things in more than nebulous detail over the course of the next few weeks.
In other slices of my life, my fitness regimen continues apace. My personal and spiritual growth continues. And I’m evolving into the person I want to be. We all strive to be better, but it’s important to have balance in all aspects of our lives. “Be better” is, essentially, my New Year’s Resolution in a nutshell. Two simple words with a whole lot of potential energy. Kinda like the Hulk’s bunched up fist before he punches somebody.
Regarding the personal games front, I did acquire an Xbox One and a PS4 and enjoy both, though I’ve sunk a goodly amount of time on the 3DS XL (wrapping up The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds last night). And I did snag a copy of SMT IV which I shall likely dive into more readily after these words are written. And I shall strive to stay warm. I advise you do the same, wherever you are.
Until next time, I bid you, dear reader, adieu!
