Give Yourself Permission to Fall Short

This week has been very busy, but I didn’t quite hit all the goals I had set out to do. That’s okay. This was a very productive and very ambitious week and a LOT was accomplished by myself and the crew.

Here’s the moral of the story. If you set the bar, and you fall short, don’t beat yourself up. Pause to think of all the things you did accomplish and don’t try to overdo it. In the long run, you’ll wear yourself. In the short run, you won’t be a lot of fun to be around (in those little snippets of time when you’re not working) and you’ll miss the seasons, only noticing them blur past from the window out of the corner of your eye.

This does not, by any means, procrastinate or avoid your responsibilities. You have to prioritize, something I’ll discuss another time. I have a bit more work to do. :)

Set new goals. Tomorrow is another day after all.

Until next time, I bid you, dear reader, adieu!
