Ron Blessing Thinks You’re Awesome!
Today is a public service announcement. Ron has been a steadfast supporter of the Savage Worlds community and as the most frequent guest on The Games The Thing [1. Hi, Veronica!] , I volunteered, yes, volunteered, to help get the word out about FUSE.
Seriously. He’s a gamer’s gamer and if there was a picture of ADD it would be him. Can he focus? Certainly? Does he? From time to time. More often, however, he is a man of many interests and appetites and even if he cloned himself into a dozen crack-enhanced clones who did nothing but snack on enchiladas, play games, and do podcasts, it would not be enough.
Do you know why? It’s because Ron has finally (publicly) stuck his toes into the tempestuous waters of game design. What’s more, he is finally gabbing about it on his podcasts–something I’ve encouraged him to do–and, well, the website, that’s his own special madness. The reason I want him to talk to the world about it? It’s because I know Ron has some interesting and innovative ideas within him, but I don’t have the time to drag them out of him. It’s totally up to you. Ron, knows an awesome game when he sees one, and I, for one, thinks he can design something awesome too.
Like many of us, he feasts upon the flames of your words, wisdom, and general encouragement. He is publicly inviting you to have discourse with him. He’s a pleasant guy and he’s like the Baskin-Robbins of opinions. Does that even make sense? It doesn’t matter. You know what I mean. (And, hey, who doesn’t like ice cream? Unless you’re a commie!) I’ll admit, I’m a bit selfish. I want to see his finished work.
So, mosey over there, inundate him with words like candy-coated sprinkles and tell him Sean sent ya. [3. In other words, hammer him with feedback. Will ya?]
Until next time, I bid you, dear reader, adieu!
