The Technical Side of Creative Endeavors
Keeping a handle on everything is a thrill a minute. No, it’s not. Not really. Strange how we live in an age of so much information and disinformation and people still want to speak in opposites, isn’t it?
Keeping a handle on some things is pretty great. And an eye on other things isn’t so bad, until something gums up the system. And this happens from time to time. Presently, we’re dealing with some technical issues on our forums. And have been for quite some time. I’ve now stepped in and am seeing what my ISP can do. They’re generally quite responsive, and have been able to handle the handful of minor issues which have arisen over the years.
I used to love working with tech stuff. I truly did. I wrote code as a kid, and even some odd years ago. The appeal isn’t there so much these days. I have other things demanding my attention, and my time is likely better spent creating stuff than kludging together code. It presently looks like I’ll need to roll up my sleeves and get my hands a bit dirty. I can do it. I’ll adapt. I always do. (Heck, if I had the time, I’d likely give the whole website a fresh coat of paint.)
In and around that, I’m doing a lot of layout, and looking forward to ramping things up, and get the year full and well underway. And I hope to have the forums operational before too long. Until then, the best place to find me is on Twitter. Just look for @realityblurs.
Until next time, I bid you, dear reader, adieu!
