Yakety Yak

Sometimes, it’s good to get beyond yourself and make contact with people. I’m not talking using the keyboard and engaging in all the social media stream so readily available, I’m talking getting some face time with a friend, or calling a comrade to commiserate with.

Today, I dispensed some knowledge and spoke at length with several Blurry Ones as well as a young padawan who seeks to harness the Force.  To the latter, I gave some general information regarding outlining and the process which I should take the time to get into tomorrow.

With my guys, I discussed some of the great art coming in for Agents of Oblivion, a bit of Realms of Cthulhu, and some Echo. I cannot help but blather about Agents and Echo regularly with anyone who’ll hear me. They are both passion projects, near and dear to me, that are moving along through their development cycle. This should be some of our best stuff to date and everything is on track.

We also discussed some secret projects which are very early in our long development cycles, but it’s always nice to hear my advice, when cleaved to, proves out.

Some days, it’s nice to know I’m not speaking to myself as I bang on the keyboard.
