A Good Week

Hello All…

This week, I’m happy to report that we got a lot of new visitors to the site, in great part, I’d say from our appearance on two other RPG companies websites. We were featured on 12toMidnights website for our work on the dispatch…

Here’s what they said…

Modern Dispatch #73: Sundown Cineplex comes courtesy of our pal Sean Preston, President of Reality Blurs. Be sure to check out that site, because there’s no question you’ll be seeing more of Reality Blurs in the future. Between Runepunk and Agents of Oblivion, Sean is poised to take the gaming community by storm. This issue is packed with great adventure ideas, and we hope Sean offers us more great issues like this one in the future!

Many thanks, Preston, I’m hoping to get another adventure to you after I wrap up edits on OI and AoO, and after I polish up the GM’s section of RunePunk.

You guys should already know about Green Ronin’s announcement, so I shan’t repost it. You know their url too, don’t ya? :)

So, last week, I was busy dealing with a lot of emails and a lot of webstuff and my first real exposure to posting to rpgnet and enworld and people telling me to keep my eyes on threads where I rarely ever travel…sheesh, it’s a lot…

This website will be the hub for Agents of Oblivion. As I’ve stated elsewhere on the site, I’ll be happy to field all questions and let you guys know the hip facts of AoO. I’ll drop a few facts on you right now…

Butch Curry said it reminds him of “a cross between the X-Files and Le Femme Nikita”. I find that very cool…so, you can extrapolate from that, you’ll get into some weirdness and spy stuff…when I say weirdness, I’m talking a great sliding scale of weirdness with gadgets and big guns too. This can be played as subdued as a straight up spy game, like a Bond flick or Splinter Cell, or you can mix it up a bit with the Forgotten Ones, eldritch horrors, and that’s not even getting into the archetypes, such as dreamers, cleaners, and carnivores.

Later,

Sean
